|NCYC 2017 - The Diocese of Birmingham in Alabama|
Who can go?
Participants must be of high school (grades 9-12) age. The best way to go is to be a part of a parish group with its own adult leadership. Click here if you want to go but your parish is not sending a group.
How much does it cost?
Approximately $500 (depending on how many people are in your hotel room). The conference fee includes transportation from Alabama to Indianapolis, overnight hotel accommodations, four meals, admission fees, and t-shirt. Limited scholarship help is available if you plan early.
When and where?
It starts with boarding a charter bus at an unbelievably early hour on Thursday, November 16. Then it's a ten hour ride to Indianapolis, into your hotel room, back out for pizza and soda, then off to the big opening at Lucas Oil stadium (yup that is where the NFL plays). The headline act for the opeing session is TobyMac. You'll get back to the hotel in time to fall into bed and sleep for a few hours. Friday and Saturday, its early up and out to the conference - back to the hotel late.
Sunday night we'll participate in the gigantic closing Mass. You wont believe how many young Catholics can get into the stadium for Worship. Sunday morning we get back on the buses and return to Alabama. We arrive around 9:00 PM on Sunday, November 19th.
